Interior door choices include hollow core doors of various sheathing materials. This allows homeowners to choose the look they want without requiring the mass of slowly renewable materials in the product.

Interior doors should have adequate undercut to maintain balance in the HVAC system. Be sure the airspace from the undercut is still sufficient after replacing carpeting and padding. Allow enough space beneath the door to ensure air flow and return air egress if necessary.
