I like the looks of the floor but the 4×4`s cracked at the location of carrage bolts.

I used the structural Trimax product for the framing, and the Carefree product for the decking. The structural product is expensive, and has to be reinforced some places with stainless steel, but I couldn’t be happier with the results. I’m very near the ocean and all my neighbors decks are rotting on a consistant basis. My new deck will never rot or infest with ants or termites. The color is clear through, so I will never have to paint it. Although it cost about double the cost of a wood deck, I feel the investment was well worth it.
