Wind Energy (Before you buy...)

The term wind energy or wind power describes using the kinetic energy contained in the wind to generate mechanical power or electricity. Winds are created by the sun’s heating of the atmosphere, texture of the earth’s surface, rotation of the earth, and local conditions. Wind energy has been used for millennia by people to propel boats and move water. Today, when the energy from the wind is harvested by modern wind turbines it is converted to electricity.
Wind is essentially zero-emission producer of electricity.
